IGF-1 LR3

IGF-1 LR3 (Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 Long Arg3) is a synthetic analogue of human IGF-1 modified to contain an 83-amino acid sequence with a substitution of glutamic acid for arginine at position 3, and a 13-amino acid extension at the N-terminus. This structural change significantly reduces its binding affinity to IGFBPs, dramatically increasing its in-vitro activity and half-life for cellular growth studies.
